VSD on the Turko Files

KUSI's Turko Files investigate local problems. This week's episode is about a drainage ditch in Spring Valley that had turned into a massive fire hazard. With help from Volunteer San Diego, the community came together to clear the ditch of the dead grass and weeds that could have easily sparked into a wildfire.

Watch the investigative report here.

Pls stop this elderly and disabled abuse:

The Columbia Towers, 904 State St, SD, 92101, managed by GK Mngtmnt, instructed Cox Cable to discontinue services to all tenants
in this bldg without proper notification to any tenants until the last minute, to take effect dec 2!

GK Management has contracted with Sattelite Dish Network to provide services. Some tenants already have signed the new contracts without fully understanding what exactly would take place, and those who did understand were not wanting this change.

Many of the elderly, wheelchair
bound, who are not able to defend themselves either because they suffer a paralyses that inhibits their communication abilities nor have no one to defend their right
to choose!

Please, Mike, attempt one of your miraculous feets and find out, please, what GK management was thinking. Who knows, maybe there is something that can be done. After all, this is the United States of America
